I doubt that anything else compares!
Man, this stuff gives about the strongest bond I've ever seen. I doubt I'll ever have to (or be able to!) re-bond my rv windshield gasket again. Instructions say to apply a thin coat to each surface and allow to dry to tackiness before joining the two surfaces together. That only takes about five minutes or so. Then once you join them you have just a minute or less to correct the alignment if needed, so plan out your strategy and be ready. if you goof up you can still peel apart within a minute or two but can't slide around so you'll have to re-coat and do a better job on the next try. The one and only product for proper weatherstrip adhesion
This is the product to use for your automotive weatherstrip installation. Excellent results are achievable by following the directions. It works more or less like contact cement. You put a small bead on both the body and the weatherstripping, then smooth it flat with a tool (I use a popsicle stick or something similar to do this). You only get one shot, so take your time.
