Good 'ol Kadee, just refined!
The #58 and #158 are the exact same coupler - except that the #158 is the newer style "whisker" type of coupler. IMO, the whiskers work better than the original bronze springs. The best thing is, you can bend the whiskers out a little, if they're not centering properly. You start messing with the old bronze springs, and they'll NEVER work right again! 😲 The #58/158 are "scale" sized couplers. They're smaller in the knuckle than the #5/35/148... ect. However, they easily couple/uncouple with each other, no problem. Kadee designed them that way! The info was for the "train set" buyers and the modelers who haven't gotten their heads out of the sand! 😁 😉 Highly recommended!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
