good metal working drill press
I needed a drill press for metal, capable of drilling 17/32 in 1/4 steel and 11/16 in cast iron. The Jet works great. Lots of power, no chatter, no belt slipping, nice slow 200 rpm. The chuck is nice, and the light feature is nice. The on off buttons are stiff, hope they hold up. The table finish is a little rough but OK. The 3 1/4 travel is adequate but my last press had 4 1/2. In short the Jet drill press I purchased has lived up to Jet's reputation.
