Easy way to replace broken sensors on an otherwise working garage door opener.
The sensors that came with the brand new garage door opener failed within a short time after installation and customer service was pretty much useless in getting them replaced. Strong brackets and shaping of the sensors allows for a "wrap around" of the door glide channels that provides additional support and less likelihood of damage from being struck from the side. Worked with older series G model with 2 wire pairs in original receiver.
I was concerned because the original wiring is different than these newer units, but it worked perfectly.
