,WHEN I BOUGHT MY BERETTA 92 I DIDNT NOTICE IT DIDNT HAVE A RAIL, SO I THOUGHT A LASER AND LIGHT WAS OUT OF THE QUESTION, THIS PRODUCT ALLOWS YOU TO ADD A LASER AND LIGHT TO THE GUN GREAT IDEA WORKS PERFECTLY, WELL MADE, FITS WELL. LOOKS GOOD TO.

Doesn't even fit a normal 92FS without modification. The way the trigger guard clamp is, it is not possible to get it around the guard/rail piece and still get the bottom screw in (simply too much material there to get around) and the top screw only barely goes in and by flaring out the bottom. It completely fails me how an engineer can grab one of these off the line, realize they don't even properly fit, and then just let it keep going. For all the guys saying it doesn't fit their Taurus, but otherwise they're sure it would be great: it doesn't fit a normal 92FS either. It's not you...it's the product. It's very poorly engineered.

I purchased a similar adapter for my 1911 and was very pleased, the same is not true of this model I have with a good deal of filing been able to make it fit my Taurus 92 with good files and a great deal of patience it can be made to work, plug and play it isn't. I did not try try it on my Beretta 92 as it is a pre SB model with the rounded trigger guard. Final note , if you are handy with tools it can be made to work if not this is a total waste of your money.

If your 92 has the taper on the end of the dust cover, this will not work. Basically, if the frame forward of the trigger guard is straight, this will work. No damage to the trigger guard's finish after installing and removing. It locks on tight and allows me to put a light on for night shooting. I use a high thumb hold with my support hand UNDER the trigger guard, not in front of it so having this on doesn't require me to change my grip. Obviously, your 92 will not fit in the original holster with this on so I only put it on at the range. Installation is simple, you just loosen the screws on each side, put it over the trigger guard and tighten them down. It stays in place and gives me a rail when I want it so I don't have to spend another $600+ on a 92A1. I dig it and I think you will too.Read full review
