These are good tips in that they transfer heat quickly, and install easily in my 40-watt soldering pencil. The only negative I can find about these is that they don't last very long. After a while, the middle of the tip becomes U-shaped, probably because of corrosive nature of the solder flux, and it may be because my particular iron seems to be a bit hotter than usual.

This is my second pair of these MT10 tips and they do not last long. The tips are made in Mexico and the plating does not hold up to the heat of the Weller SP 40 watt iron. Weller is known for quality products, I wish they would make these tips back in Germany were their quality control is probably much better.
