Simple, reliable way to allow motion to control lights or appliances using X-10
These X-10 Eagle Eye motion sensors are compact, portable (self powered),come with good instructions, are quite easy to set up, are reliable and can be mounted anywhere. It is just one X-10 element in a family of compatible X-10 components. At least one other element of that family is required for it's function. The motion field is limited to about 90degrees. I have been using X-10 systems for over 30 years with positive results, and these sensors are no exception. Like all electronics they have a finite life expectancy and some have failed in use before expected, but in my experience most have lasted for years. I subtracted one star because some sensors have shown manufacturing flaws in the lens area.
