Charge Last Longer Than The 2 Others I bought On Ebay
Bought 2 other oem batteries for my Galaxy S4 in the past from other sellers on ebay. They would charge fast but only last about a day. Battery replacement for my Samsung Galaxy S4
The battery works but is no better that the 3 year old original battery that I was replacing. If you are replacing a completely dead battery it might be OK for you, otherwise not so good. According to info on the Net this battery is, apparently, not a genuine Samsung battery but a counterfeit. I removed the label to confirm the comparison between a genuine and a counterfeit. I'm not an expert, but the fact that the new battery doesn't last as long as the 3 year old battery is telling. This was my second source for a battery, the first was a stated "replacement", not a genuine, like this one. I have just received another (third) battery from yet another source claiming Samsung OEM status. Have just installed it and will soon see what happens with this one. BAD BATTERY!!!!
I was not pleased with this battery for my Samsung galaxy s4. I needed a new battery for my phone, so I bought this one. The battery did great for about 3 months after that it started to go dead within a couple of hours. After that I noticed a swelling in the back of my phone, and it getting hot all the time. When I took my case off the back of my phone. The case was cracked from the swelling of the battery. It almost exploded on me!!! Now it could be I have bad luck and this might not happen to someone else but it did happen to me. So I will not be buying from them again!!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great but not exact
This battery is made and labeled almost exactly like the one that comes in the Samsung phones, however it is slightly different. The made by, assembled line is different. This product is an almost exact copy of the original created/copied by the Chinese. It fits just a little bit snugger in my phone, but the phone back closes correctly and all is well. I am glad to have it, and I feel it is a good item for the money. It came 85% charged so I was able to take the old one out and replace it very quickly and then continue the tapping off charge. This is not "OEM" Samsung as claimed. It only lasted 2 months before failing.
I installed this "OEM" battery in my Samsung Galexy S4 phone because I felt the original battery was not quite as strong as when the phone was new some 4 years ago. I saw no significant change initially, but then it started getting worse. Within 2 months, the battery started shutting down after the phone said there was 30% of the charge remaining and eventually needed to be recharged twice a day. This new "OEM" battery did not say Samsung like I expected. They claimed that they had to remove the Samsung name to get it more quickly through customs. I suspect that this product is NOT OEM at all. It may even be different technology such that it forms a memory. battery life
Since this battery is no longer (presumably) being manufactured) the ones being sold while new have bee sitting (allegedly) in storage for a few years and the battery life simply erodes over time. I had hoped that the new batteries wold be able to last at least a full day with moderate use (no movies no music) but they simply run down after about 6 hours. Affordable and great quality
The battery for my SGS4 started to show sign of aging (holds less charge and getting warm). After looking at Amazon's price I decide to try this seller's product. The packaging is pretty well and the batteries are well protected. A note is included saying that the sticker on battery doesn't have a Samsung marking and you need to remove the top layer sticker to see what is inside.
