These seem bright enough, in pitch black they glow well enough
I considered all the brands for my G21 before getting these, based on user reviews of course. I wanted night sights because OEM just aren't bright enough on a dim indoor range. i installed these with a sight pusher tool, and the FIXXXER front sight wrench also bought on ebay. Plus some blue loctite on the (slightly short) front sight bolt. The only quibble I have with these is the front sight bolt is significantly shorter then OEM and they won't interchange - hopefully with the loctite the front sight will hold firm. Anyway some people say you could freeze your slide over night and try and bang out the old ones with a punch, if you just can't afford the pusher tool... but i didn't think it was worth possibly mangling a $600 gun to save $45 so i just got the tools. If you have a Glock you will need a front sight wrench since no socket i ever saw is thin enough to fit. Anyway, bringing the sights into a pitch black room, they seem bright enough, and by bright enough i mean you can pick them out and they're visible. But like i said i can't compare them, but i guess you could do worse then these night sights. So i recommend them. Of course if there were brighter sights i'd pick those, even if they cost more, but again, absolutely no way to tell without comparing two or more of them at the same time.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I like very much. They help me transition from light to dark. These are the first and only brand of night sights I've purchased to date. So I have not compared to others in real life situation. But I see as good cost effective solution to my needs. They were easy for me to install. I've only recently purchased so I can't yet rate long term use. Fit and Function Perfect
Tritium rods encased in blued steel--top quality--fit perfectly on my Walther PDP F series. The height is also just what I wanted; they align right even with the lower window of the Holsun HE 509T reflex sight. I didn't want any interference while using my main sight (the RDS), but did want easily found and seen irons in case of RDS failure. The 509T has a one-screw clamp to the "crypto picatinny rail" that comprises the 509s' mounting so it makes for a most trustworthy setup.

Get these and don't look back!!!
If you're new to having night sights on your pistol, you need these. If you're new to tritium nights sights, you need these. If you ever need to use your weapon at night, or in complete darkness, you need these. Simply put, they just glow. You can leave your pistol in total darkness for years, and when you open it, they will be glowing. They do not need an outside light source to make them glow. They are bright enough to keep you on target, even in the dark. These are a must for home defense weapons, because seconds count when you're under threat. It's a welcomed feeling to roll over, in the middle of the night, and the first thing you see are these things glowing.
