One of the best "cheap" knives around.
I've had several of these little gems and they are amazingly useful for a variety of hunting and field tasks. It's light and easy to wear while not getting in the way. A very fine and useful point, plenty of belly to the blade and a comfortable handle make for a knife you just seem to keep reaching for. I keep one in the truck and one in the backpack I take hunting, The others I've ended up giving away to friends who have admired them. It will prepare food, skin hogs and deer and handle just about anything that comes up while you're out and about. This roach belly type of knife was popular for centuries for a good reason. Let it get wet.
Had been looking at the knife for over a year, and purchased it when I saw the price. Knew what it was like before the purchase. Simple design with very sharp blade. Like the fact that I don't care if it gets wet. Smooth handle could be a problem when wet, but I usually have on rubber gloves when using. A lot of knife for very little money
I normally wouldn’t expect much from a knife this cheap, but Cold Steel makes some excellent budget knives. This knife does not disappoint. It came very sharp and became hair popping sharp with very little effort. The 4116 steel holds a decent edge and is very rust resistant. The handle can be slippery so I wrapped mine in paracord. It still fits in the sheath too.
