KALA K-AT Tenor Ukulele
This is my first uke, but I've been playing guitar for 50 years (!). Even though sold as a demo, the instrument arrived in flawless condition. I was considering a Makala (Kala's budget brand, think Epiphone or Squire) but at this price the Kala was a bargain. It is so much fun and easy to play. The Ukulele by Kala, plays great, sounds great and looks great! I am so pleased with it! It has a lovely, warm tone overall, but has the nice highs too! The gig bag is really high quality! The Snark tuner is great too! I am a professional musician, who has decided that uke is a good addition to my instruments, so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money right away to get an instrument to learn on. The quality of this mahogany uke is so good, I don’t feel I need a better one. I just love it. Buy one! You’ll be happy. Go straight for the tenor. Nice neck width and fret spacing. True Beginner
I'm a senior (74) and a beginner with the ukulele. Short stubby and arthritic fingers is a challenge but I am getting the hang of it. I like this Tenor as the fingerboard is slightly longer so my fingers fit a little better. Also have a Concert which I like too. I devote time each day to practice and really enjoy it.
