This system gives customer guarantees and reports to everyone, with maximum transparency, the reliability of us sellers. We remind you that upon delivery of the goods, after a duty control of what has been received, the customer is required to release positive feedback ... And don't forget the stars !!. If you found yourself well, always release the maximum (5). For most buyers, assigning a vote of 4 out of 5 stars is considered a point of great positivity. For eBay, on the contrary, it is a not entirely positive vote, but little more than enough. Obviously we will do the same with you as a buyer !!! If instead you have encountered problems, of any nature, employees or not dependent on us, please contact us before the release of the feedback to solve the inconvenience together and in the b.
Initial impressions: this is only the second sailing ship model I have received so take what I say with a grain of salt. Ship 1 was the Jolly Roger by Lindberg. I have nearly completed it and my experience squares with various other reviewers. To wit: the molds are old and the biggest issue is that some ratlines cover the cannon ports. But enough about that. To the Black Swan. It is a huge box, 4 x the size of the 1:130 Jolly Roger. Second, there are 897 parts, all in grey except the windows in clear plastic. This being a 1:72 model, I expect the detailing will be much more achievable. However, with the whole kit being in grey plastic, paint will be needed everywhere. I expect to use spray paints to cover large surfaces. Finding flat finishes in the requisite colours will probably require buying gloss paint and applying a clear flat topcoat.
Anyway, I have not assembled anything yet but from appearances the quality of the molds is A1. I am very grateful to the manufacturer for providing very detailed instructions, right down to how to tie the knot for the anchor. (This will actually help me finish the Jolly Roger.)
A first impression: this kit seems very well made!
This is the best fitting & most beautifully made plastic ship model I have ever made. I have been building models for over 70 years & this is a real winner. Mine does look better than the picture.
