Great tone and longevity
I was skeptical about these at first, but the NYXL's are great strings. Probably even the best strings I've used so far, and I've tried a lot of different ones over the years. I didn't notice a huge difference in tone from regular XL120's, but they NYXL's don't lose that crisp, bright attack of new strings after a few days like most nickel wound steel strings do. Normally I change strings on my electric once a week, but I can get 3-4 weeks out of these, so even though they are more expensive it evens out.
