Not bad
It has been several years since I have built a structure model and was surprised by this one. While the tooling stamping is good I was unaware that they now do not come with clear plastic for windows and that you just receive sheet plastic cut your own floors and roofs. Also assembly instructions are minimal and plastic bag packing as opposed to a box with more photos. While the model had a small amount of parts, you did also have to perform a lot more trimming and sanding to cut and clean parts from the sprues. All of this surprised me. While this is taking me longer to build I believe the results will be good and this will be a nice addition to my layout . Conversely I have been impressed with the direct from China inexpensive tall building models that are molded in color, fit so well they snap together, and have center accommodation for lighting. They do also need glass for completion but assemble very easily and look great as well. My advice now is to do some shopping around and stick with what you like.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

get what you pay for.
lets review what additional items you need with this kit . There is no inner bracing for the walls or roof. The styrene for the dock floor, the rain deflection roof over the dock and the buildings roof is so thin it is not usable without serious drooping. Better to buy additional styrene for those areas and bracing under same. There is no base to this unit to give it any rigidity . Again something to supply yourself. While the brick walls were realistic, that was this kit only redeeming feature.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
