Best PF Unit Available
There is nothing wrong with this product. It is made well and is of very good quality. The issue is with how these parts are installed. Because it is pressed into the frame, it can only be as secure as the frame will allow. There is no way to make it any more secure, like the thread together unit which allows you to tighten the two sides together. So even though this part is made very well, it still moves inside the frame and makes noise when you apply pressure especially when you get out of the saddle.

PF 30 BB review
The alum cups appear to have removed the creaking noise you get from the original plastic cups. Only one long ride with them so time will tell. Easy to install if you have the correct tools (like anything). Took a couple try's to get the spacers worked out on both sides of the crank so the arms wouldn't over tighten the bearings. Once installed correctly everything feels really smooth.
