I bought this for camping as it is better than a folding saw. Not too large to pack and cuts thru 5 inch limbs in a fast manner. It is all they say . The only con is that any thing larger than 5 inches will require cutting from more than one side. I knew that when i bought it i wanted a camping saw not a tree feling saw. Great camping / emergency saw.
I bought this saw to keep in my truck for emergencies. I have only taken this saw on one camping trip but I was not disappointed. It packs up light and compact if you hang it from your bag with a carabineer. It is easy to assemble and although sawing wood is not an easy task...it makes light work of it. Great for backcountry camping when carrying in the firewood is not an option. Excellent folding Sven saw
This saw is awesome for back packing/hiking and camping. It is also useful at home for trimming trees and shrubs with branches/limbs too large for pruners/loppers. I find it far superior to the saws that fold like a pocket knife. The saw gives a longer stroke which requires less work to complete the cuts. Even though it does that it folds easily into a small compact, light weight, easily stored/carried tool.
