It is not a well made knife set by any measure. For sure not to the quality standards of the Chicago Cutlery I know. May be because the set is made in China? Or it is a defective set? If I had to make any complaint about them, it would be: I wish that each knife had a label that told you what "knife" it was. When I have a recipe that calls for a "paring knife", then I know which knife it was - that would also help me learn which knife was what.
