Great Straight Razor!!!!
I now have enough time/experience with this blade to give it a review. Well, I could use a bit more experience. Bottom line, I thought it could be a bit sharper in terms of "shave ready". HOWEVER, my face is hard to shave with my barbed wire hair, I am learning. So for most folks it will be more than shave ready. As straight razors go, it is excellent!!! I am still learning how to use it but every time I pick it up shaving gets a bit smoother/easier to do and am almost down to zero nicks during the process. :-). Aesthetically, this razor looks great. So it just adds to the experience. Functionally, I am sure it also performs great. I am still striving for greatness but improvements will need to come from me as the razor is just fine. :-) Bottom line, I recommend this razor for use. Give it a try. If it feels like it is pulling hairs too much, it just needs to be properly honed/sharpened. You can hone it yourself (easy to do if you are interested in that; I hone mine with a 12,000 grit stone), or send it out to be honed by a professional.
