When this figure was out, I passed her up as there were already more character accurate and dynamic versions of her out. A few weeks ago though I ran across her on ebay and the photos of her made me take a second look. The first plus is, she's inexpensive, especially for a figure that's out of circulation now by almost a decade. But more over, I realized that I had passed up a subtle but brilliant figure! She has one of the prettier female faces of the entire new-sculpt era, actually. He costume is simple but effective and over all the effect I get from her is that she is reminiscent of a 1940's female military spy. She has that "beautiful dame with a gun" vibe. accessories to me are jusr enough. The javelin launcher could have been traded for a thompson or other older styled sub machine cun or a rifle in my opinion but that's minor. Movement for a figure, like most gi-joes, is excelent. Up against new-sculpt joes there are a couple limitations. No movement at the wrists and her hipleg joints are shaped such that she can't sit down, like in a vehicle or something, and she can't really put her legs together in like a walking pose. Later versions of the character correct all this but for some reason, I am finding that she is growing on me as a rather special figure and my favorite of the character. If you can forgive her minor flaws and you need a lady jaye for your collection, give this one a shot! You should be able to get her for a good price and there is just something really cool about her.Read full review
