So fast compared to my standard compound
I don't know why anyone would need anything faster. The Tact-zone scope upgrade with illuminated reticle is well worth the money. I had it sighted in @ 20, 30, and 40 yards, after 10 shots following the manufacturer instructions, Excalibur knows their equipment. I don't trust myself to shoot any farther, though the reticle has markings for 50 and 60 yards, I have no doubt of this bows capabilities. 2 days after arrival it made it's first kill, deer ran 35-40 yards and dropped. With a compound bow I could never have made an attempt at that deer because I would have had to stand to draw back. Being as I shot this in the backyard at a target 2 dozen times and hearing how much sound it makes, I will be investing in some noise dampening equipment to quiet it down. Seems the trigger mechanism is what makes the most noise
