I love my BC Racing coilovers! My car is completely refined along with a couple other suspension mods including BMR relocation brackets, lower control arms, and an adjustable Panhard Bar. My Mustang is now a Miata that’s the size of a boat. When I describe BC Racing coilovers to my friends, I always say you get what you paid for. These are on the expensive side because they are high quality, they have perfect fit, they are easily installed, and they perform very well. They are easily adjustable and I am still not used to being able to change my ride stiffness from soft to hard in a couple clicks of the knob. These were my first coilovers and I was very satisfied with my purchase. As far as performance, the coilovers feel slightly stiffer than stock on the softest setting with recommended preload. It’s very comfortable and is still responsive. On the hardest setting, your interior dash may rattle off! It becomes very stiff. In my opinion, I would say that the hardest setting would be for track use only. Nonetheless, you have 30 settings between those two and you can find your comfort spot. As far as lowering capabilities, I conservatively dropped the front about 1” and the rear 1.5”. The car has an aggressive stance and looks like how it should come out of the factory. It could go much lower for stance boys, but I personally prefer functionality over form. If you really want to overhaul your Mustang’s suspension, consider purchasing BC Racing coilovers!
