As advertised it is plug & play. Batteries were already charged but I plugged into wall recpt overnight before using. Used on my cable's router and receiver. We lost power yesterday for about 45min and our standby generator kicked in after the first 30sec. The router and receiver never lost power and the tv came on as soon as the gen took over. Exactly what I wanted, no waiting time for a reboot of the router and receiver.

Battery pack works well. I had the same problem as someone else with the wiring harness not working. It might be that the harness was not lined up correctly with the connectors in the UPS (if so, I might have been able to adjust this). Rather than hassling with the harness, I simply pulled the wiring harness off my old battery pack.
