Every bit as good as any Pelican or Storm case, and it's still made in the USA
I found an eBay deal ($150, shipped) on this rifle case, used. I wanted one case to hold my match R700 in 300 Win Mag and an AR-15, both with big variable power target turret scopes, and have plenty of room to keep them from bumping into one another and foam around the perimeter. None of the dimensions available online for any of the Pelican or Storm cases fit the bill. They were a half inch too small here, or an inch too small there, etc., and just wouldn't have worked with these two rifles. Enter the SKB. I love this case. I wish it had come with all of the SKB foam, but it was missing the middle piece where you make the custom cutouts. Some of the 60mm thick foam from Fast Cap did the trick and now I've got a true 2-scoped-rifle case. The new price on these is comparable to Pelican and it is every bit as durable as my buddies Pelican and Storm cases.
