This is the second one I purchased. I bought the first one for myself, the other for someone else. I love it. It's portable so you can take it with you like a small MP3 player..but it's a satelite radio & MP3 player! I get great reception with mine. I have the home and car kit. I even purchased a compatible "boombox" so I can use it at work. It docks seamlessly and works perfectly with all the above. It's like having 4 radios, but I only pay for one subscription. To summarize: it's a satelite radio, it's portable so you can take it with you, it records content (music,sports,etc.,)for playback later so you never miss a thing, you can import MP3 files directly from your computer (I even listen to lectures), and you can use it at home and in your car!!!!

I bought this as a backup for the one I have now. They don't make these anymore and are becoming harder to find. If my old one decides to quit, I'll have this newer one to use. I go camping a lot and also use my XM radio when in Mazatlan, Mex. I always have excellent reception and don't have to put up with the commercials. It is small and lite weight, and easy to use. There are updated versions on the market, but they are bigger and don't fit in your shirt pocket.
