Singer vintage zipper foot
I learned to sew on a 1933 Singer featherweight which has this exact foot, and ever since I've never been happy with the zipper foot that came with my machines. Doesn't work on my Kenmore sewing machine -- despite the advertising.
This zipper foot is billed as a good fit for a variety of sewing machines including Kenmore -- it is not. I have a Kenmore model 1521. When I installed the zipper foot provided, I found the needle didn't line up with the cutout when the zipper foot was set to the left of the needle. Instead, the needle hit the zipper foot. I was unable to adjust it to make it work. The zipper foot only works properly if it's set to the right of the needle. A zipper foot is supposed to work on either side. The part might be warped. The foot seems be leaning slightly away from the shaft. Perhaps quality control is the problem. Whatever the cause, the zipper foot is unusable on my Kenmore sewing machine. And given the corona virus, returning it will be a real pain.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Zipper foot
It's good quality, I have no complaints really, I new going into the project that I was going to have to modify it to fit my 1958 Elgin, so I did some Tig welding on it to lengthen it to fit my machine, but in modern machines it may be a perfect fit, so maybe it should be 5 stars....but now it works perfectly for my machine, I do like it, it's heavy duty enough to weld on that should say a lot, thank you for a quality product.
