Had identical one for years and use it every day. Made the mistake of putting the bowl on the bottom tray of the dishwasher -- So happy and relieved to find this one. Works great.

The mini food chopper by Proctor Silex 72500, had a change in design with regard to the on and off button. The older system had a pulse button on the left top side to achieve the movement of the blade. Now the plastic cover over the 1.5 cup holder activates the blade. I hope it will last as long as my older unit. time will tell.

Very helpful when making salsa. I also use it to grind up raw garlic and raw ginger for salads. I highly recommend this product.

This little chopper does chop, doesn't turn stuff to mush. I use it for chopping fresh ginger root for homemade ginger ale. I'm sure it would make baby food nicely, with cooked vegetables.

Great little food processor. Blade runs very close to the base so it makes it good for chopping very small stuff such as garlic. Can't do with bigger processors because the space between the blade and base is too much. But this processor is also fine for bigger stuff....just have to cut in pieces a bit and maybe have to do a couple batches instead of all at once....like when you do a large onion or something.
