Excellent Convection/Toaster oven. Looks good, well designed, practical and very effective, best part is it's easy to use.

I've had $20-$30 toaster ovens and splurged on this one (sure, a weak moment). This is cool, and works well, but way overpriced for what it does. Maybe higher-end users (I'm a single dude who just wants to be able to throw any size roll or biscuit or piece of bread in the thing and quickly toast it the way I want it) will exploit every last feature and deem this worth the money. In that sense, I'm probably being too harsh. But I don't see the value for the price I paid.

This toaster oven cooks as well as any full size oven. It is well insulated, reaches set temperature quickly and retains heat which makes to bake and roast items for 2-3 people. It saves a great deal of energy due to its size. The 12 " baking tray holds most things and is great for making a square homemade pizza. I made two perfect homemade Italian cheesecakes in it. The cnvection feature, like a regualr oven, speeds up cooking and permits oneto lower the suggested temp by 25 degrees; thus, saving more energy. Last year Consumer Reports gave this model a high rating and since I have been following their ratings for over 40 years, I bought it. The price was good on ebay and I recommend it highly.
Bought refurbished, and it looked like NEW - absolutely beautiful and works perfectly. I was a bit dissappointed about the timer feature: it does not auto-shutoff the oven like most, you have to manually press stop to turn it off, which is a potential burn-disaster if I don't reach it in time. My previous convection had the wind-up knob to set the timer and walk away, it would turn-off the oven when the timer stopped; I was hoping this was just a digital verson -- not the case. Listen for that timer! Otherwise, cooks much more evenly than other ovens I've owned, and the touch-pad console is much nicer and easier to clean. Great product!
I always buy refurbished when available, only difference is cost. I've had a Cuisinart TOB-155 for ten years and it's been used no less than twice a day. I bake bread 3 times a week and 98% of our meals in this oven. I wanted a second oven for the times there's too much to fit into the one. When using the convection setting turn the temperature down 25 degrees & turn the food once at half-time or one side will be cooked more than the side furthest from the fan. The energy savings from not using a large conventional oven has paid for this small oven many, many times over.
