I bought this heater about a year ago. I use it in my mini Provan Tiger RV. I removed the original furnace, cos it use an excessive amount of battery power. I made a door to cover the hole from the old furnace. & I mounted the heater on the door. So I can adjust the direction of the heat if need be. & I gained a lot of storage space where the old furnace used to be. It is a win win situation . I also bought the factory cover for it. To keep it clean & protected. It also is very well made of thick material.

This nearly new Olympian Wave-3 Propane Catalytic Heater is one of the best and safest heaters I've ever used. I have three of them. Two Wave-3s and one Wave 6. Their propane usage is minimal (far less than an equivalent dollar amount of electricty for an electric heater) and the heaters are safe. I've laid a sheet of paper on the front grill with the heater on high and the paper charred, but it never burst into flame. The heater does not generate enough heat to cause combustion. I've had other users tell me they've accidentially splashed alcohol and gasoline on the heater and it never ignited. If the heater falls over or there is insufficient oxygen in the room, it shuts off. Best of all, the heater is quiet and just sits there radiating heat all night long. You can't go wrong with an Olympian catalytic heater.Read full review

I recently brought the propane heater and I thought it would provide me with heat but unfortunately it did not. I might have to get a catalytic 6 ...but i dont know if I can return it and buy a 6 ...I like the size and it is not hard to turn on. I like the idea you can use stand it or you can place it on the wall. It is safe...but like I said I need more heat in my 18 foot trailer. Rosemary

Over the years, I’ve owned 3 of these heaters (they were included in sold trailers). They are excellent quality. Of course you need to know how to use them properly. Very good product.

We're heating a Chevy Express extended van with the Wave 3 heater. It does a beautiful job but I wish I would have bought the Wave 6. Even on high the Wave 3 leaves us a bit chilly. That's not the heaters fault it's just a little small for what we are asking it to do. In our case the Wave 6 would be perfect. Very quiet. One doesn't even know it's there except for the warm orange glow.

Boondock camping, Casita 17' trailer. Really nice level of heat on low for most days, turned on high for 20 degree nights. Some condensation on windows even with vent open and window cracked. Clothes in closets a bit damp after a 3 days on high setting. Sips propane sparingly. No smell, whisper quiet.
