The InFocus LP840 is an HD LCD projector capable of displaying up to 1080i image quality with minimal configuration by the user. Built with a desktop form factor, the InFocus LP840 measures 6.4 inches by 16.8 inches by 12.4 inches and weighs approximately 17 lbs. It can be used for front or rear projection and is capable of being ceiling mounted by the user. This InFocus projector uses a 3,500 ANSI lumen image intensity by default, and it can be set to an “eco-mode” to lower the intensity to 2,800 ANSI lumens through customized power management. The approximate lamp life of this HD LCD projector is 2,000 hours. The throw distance range of 3 feet to 45.5 feet allows this InFocus projector to provide diagonal image sizes between 30 inches to 300 inches to complement the native 1024x768 resolution. The resolution can be set to a maximum of 1600x1200 with additional user configuration. Power focus and zoom features are available with the standard lens to allow the user to make precise adjustments to image quality. Cross-platform OS support for both Mac and PC setups, along with support for NTSC and PAL video formats, allow this InFocus projector to provide flexible input choices to the user.
