The Sony TA-N9000ES amplifier provides over 115 watts RMS per channel for powerful and efficient audio quality. With a copper-plated chasis, this Sony amplifier is very durable and rugged. Although being rugged, this Sony 5 channel amplifier has a smooth faceplate with great controls. While providing so much power, the Sony TA-N9000ES has ample heatsinking capability that keeps it cool throughout its operation. To protect the power supply, this Sony 5 channel amplifier has a copper shield. The five amplifiers come with special output transistors that decrease the resonance of the unit. Beautiful well made and powerful amplifier
Purchased this unused. Great amplifier in excellent condition as it is 30 years old but like new. Ran distortion, frequency response, residual noise measurements on both channels and they were still in specification !! Replaced all electroylic capactors as a precaution due to age (leakage current and because I had not reformed them correctly) and re-ran all tests afterwards with 50W in to resistive loads. Great amplifier - hopefully it will last a long time now. Finally, I measured all caps that were removed and they still their capcitance values were still in original limits. Capacitors set cost me around $70 from Mouser (good caps) and was about 2 hrs worth of work.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
