Actually works with vintage Sony stereo system
I had found an old Sony MCH GX40 stereo system at a thrift store recently. The speakers actually were old AIWA speakers but somewhat similar to the originals and the unit was covered in a lot of dust and dirt. However with the 50% discount of the day the set was only $5. I tried it out and worked fine. So with some through cleaning of the out side and inside ( using a CD lens cleaning disk) I had a great sounding vintage stereo. All I needed was a remote. I found this here on eBay for $10. Fortunately it was as described and works as the original with the unit. So for a bit more than 15 bucks I have a tremendous classic music system that changes CDs and sounds bette r than all expensive Bluetooth garbage people are using.
