Great CD Recorder
I have owned 4 of these great devices. I like to make my own mixes of music, and don't like that some discs are louder than others. This recorder allows you to set the loudness of each track, or overall CD to the desired volume when recording tracks. Some discs have been mastered for sound loud, and some mastered for sound low. If you combine different tracks from different discs on one CD, this can be somewhat bothersome. This handy device ends that problem and gives you control of the sounds it records. Pioneer PDR-509 Compact Disc Recorder
The instructions really didn't help me. I have a DVD recorder that helped me to get acquainted with the recorder. I used a disc to get familiar with the recorder's functions. To finalize the disc, you of course have to press finalize but then you have to press the pause button for it to finalize the disc. After I experimented with the recorder, I now know how to use it. It works very well and does what I need it to do. I transfer records to cd and when you press pause after a song it automatically changes to the next track number so you don't have to do it manually.
