The remote is bad.. the only thing that comes up on the screen is "welcome to your remote" I've changed batteries & pushed every button on the remote and will not do anything else. OK remote for simpler systems.
It works good if your system isn't overly complicated. The remote case was sticky (an age thing), but I was able to clean it. Doesn't play well with my ROKU TV. My 2nd 550.
Great price & very good condition. Programming the remote takes awhile. You'll spend a good amount of time tweaking your component & activity settings. Stick with it until everything is working the way you want and you'll wonder how you ever lived without one. PS My dog chewed on my 1st one and while it still works I thought I'd like to have a back up. I've used this particular model (Logitech Harmony 550) since 2007 with a number of different devices. Never had any problem with not recognizing a device. Only replaced it because it lost "volume down" function and I haven't opened it up yet.
