when your pgp is busted and the arc won't turn and you end up trying to force it with the white plastic part of the key, that's when the two white crosses snap off, eventually. So don't force the arc if it don't turn, but you probably will anyway if this is your first time trying to fix old pgp's. Don't worry bout it, you can get another. Better to get a new sprinkler head if the arc adjustment don't turn easily, too. Other than that, good tool.

The tool works just great on newly installed rotors, but if it's been in the ground for a few years screw for the metal end is full of dirt, and the hole for the plastic end is just as bad, so the plastic end breaks, thus the need for to stock up on these tools, but at least they are cheap.
