Great design!
Well i bought this ratchet strap tool because i could not get the bead to seal on my front motorcycle wheel. Tried pretty much every trick except for the starting fluid and lighter trick lol. When this thing arrived i took it out and looked it over. Its made with really good quality. It was fairly pricey so i was glad to see that. I was so confident it was going to work , i had no doubt. It ratchets down very evenly applying force in all areas. To my surprise it still didn't work. By this point i knew i needed to pull the tire back off the wheel. I did and realized i cut into the bead of my Michelin Pilot power 2ct Tire. $120 mistake ill never make again. So add in another 85 or so for this tool and you can imagine how unhappy i was at myself. To anyone learning to change their own motorcycle tires make sure you get a quality tire lube. Try to get the tire as warm as possible. And make sure you get the bead up in the channel that runs down the middle of the wheel while trying to spoon it on. This is what makes it possible and probably what i didn't realize before i started. I am happy to have this ratchet strap though. Sooner or later its going to come in handy. I feel like their is no reasons this thing won't last a lifetime if its taken care of. Wish i would have came up with the design! I tried a regular ratchet strap before i purchased this. It just doesn't get the force applied as evenly as this one does. If you will use it , buy it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
