Great stand
One of the best built you can get. I use this every weekend to hold a five and four string bass guitar and it works great. The feet open for a wide,steady stance, and the adjustment mechanism to adjust neck cradle height has positive locks so it won’t slip. The neck cradle has no problems for five string bass guitar necks as well. Everything is well made and no flaws I can see. Bad engineering.
There is a hex screw in the nut on top of the neck that is completely useless. It serves no purpose. Can't adjust the rotation at all by backing it off. Securely holds my instruments, from the heavy little Les Paul to my big old Gretsch Tennessean to my acoustic Guild D55. This stand is a great design that protects and displays each guitar safely with padded features that firmly lock in place. The only stand for me
Years ago, I caught a cord with my big feet, pulling my friend's 1961 Gibson SG Special off the old style stand, snapping the neck. Design flaw fixed
The old design did not hold up well when Pack in a road case. The curved design did not pack well and the yoke would get damaged. Thos new design allows the the yoke to lue flat when packed in a road case thus lessening the chances of breaking while in transit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
