Excellent for plumbing jobs big and small
I have used a wide variety of Teflon tape brands over the years. This is an excellent compromise between thickness and flexibility. It turns a deeper blue color under compression, so you can easily tell when a fitting being re-worked actually sealed properly. It has held up with ordinary tap water, and also hydraulic oil at over 3000 PSI without leaking. I'm using this now as the standard Teflon thread sealing tape in the tool box for any threaded pipe other than flammable gas, which code requires yellow.
