This unit would be great for any n gauge layout. It is not for digital control but has all the bells, whistles, dynamic breaking, and lots more. Smooth power and controls. Made old school of all metal, if parts may be needed manufacturer can still supply them. I think this model was so well built that they made it for 20 yrs.
