No longer a preppy
After taking the time to review and hear the sounds of different brands of pipes on line I chose this one, I wanted an aggressive sound but still wanted to be thoughtful of my neighbors. The cold start is of a noise level that is not too disruptive yet still gives the muscle sound of what is under the hood. I was almost embarrassed by the stock sound of my vette and now I can sit behind the wheel and love it for the engine that it has. Truely impressed with the tone and when I get on it the roar of it. Okay, but not my favorite
I’ve had other Borla exhausts and loved them. There’s nothing like the deep throaty sound that only Borla can produced. HOWEVER, whether it’s because this was going on a c6 instead of a c5 or perhaps Borla has modified the sound, I was disappointed. Not nearly as deep or rich a sound as in products of the past.
