If your kit includes an oiled filter, it only requires cleaning every 100,000 miles under normal highway driving conditions (as opposed to 15,000-20,000 miles for a disposable filter), and a K&N Dryflow filter can go up to 50,000 miles before cleaning.
The install was not to bad pretty fast. Looks great pulls only cold are. You hear the turbo spool at 2k+ rmp which is nice but can be annoying at sometimes. I got my car tuned after and it created a problem at high speeds because the K & N filter is oiled and covered the MAF. I will be changing the filter to a dryed filter. To fix this problem. Overall good, but I would get a dryed filter before installing.
