Replace your factory hitch immediately
If you use your three-quarter ton or 1 ton truck to tow with replace the factory hitch immediately it is not nearly up to the job. My factory hitch was starting to crack due to towing right around 10,000 pounds constantly. And this was using weight distribution bars. So right at the max the factory hitch was rated for. This hitch is much more solid and made out of Way thicker metal.
