Integrated VOIP (Voice Over IP) support, VPN support, and a range of Cisco modules add additional options for multi-function content management and delivery.A host of security protocols on the 2621 creates layers of protection for connected hosts and the entire internetwork. The built-in Cisco IOS firewall service supports advanced features like CBAC (Context-Based Access Control), DoS (Denial of Service) protection, Java blocking, and IPS (Intrusion Prevention Service). Full support for NAC (Network Admission Control) and its associated anti-virus protection keeps malicious content away from the internetwork itself and far from the end-user. AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) provides encryption for the router itself.The Cisco IOS software present on the device works for any internetwork application. Support for all industry standard and Cisco proprietary routing protocols is present, including EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First). They are kind of beat up and the plastic faceplates are broken a little ajd one not even attatched but I just put electricle tape on it so it stays on haha. They were actually surprisingly clean no dust or filth on or even inside at all so that was great. Was a little disappointed that they did not come with mounting brackets so I can not attach them to my rack until the brackets arrive that I have ordered.
