Alloy is just as hard as it needs too be
It won't withstand hitting a 1" tree branch. It isn't as strong as they claim. But it will get you by in open water. I personally would get an SST prop. This was a cheaper propeller with some upper end twikes built in to it. Added side note don't upgrade the pitch too much.
