All his books are more than a cookbook it's a beautiful piece of art with stories, nice colorful pictures and just a way of life. Once you buy 1 of his books, you will want to buy all of them. This is a wonderful book. The recipes look delicious and the instructions clear and easy to follow. The abundance of beautiful photographs and illustrations makes this not only a cookbook, but a work of art. The cloth-covered exterior paired with the non-glossy pages contribute to the earthy, home-grown feel of the book. Each page is full of Jamie's fun colloquialisms, making the book enjoyable to read even outside of the kitchen.

The recipes are the usual stellar variety. No problem there. However, I expected a book that was fashioned after his video series with handwritten text, hand drawn images, etc. It does not have those. It's the usual pictures of food and typed recipes.
