I originally checked this book out of the library and kept it as long as I could w/renewing it over and over again. I had to have it! It's great for beginners and I mean THE beginning basic gardening book and gives ppl who've been gardening for a while, some simple ideas and goes over things in a concise form and fashion. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this book if I were you. It's just a great little book (well, not so little).

It was easy to read and understand. Step by step procedures that were clear. When I compared it to others, it was the easiest for me to read and understand so I bought it.
This is an excellent book for beginner gardeners. It shows you step by step (with photos) how and why to do things. Best book I have found yet!
