Crappy spring for Road King
The spring in the kit is about impossible to install. Yes I watched videos to ensure I did it right. I ended up putting the old spring in. But neither one brings the jiffy stand snug against the frame. So I don’t think it fits a 2004 HD Road King properly. Otherwise it appears to be a good fit overall. That spring is a royal pain! The kit came with no instructions, luckily I’m mechanically inclined. Been wrenching for 50 years. The old stand was definitely not good. Stand just sits 1/4 of an inch away from frame. The rubber bumper is thick but no good if it bumps nothing beca use of spring. Best fit was with old spring. Quality is decent on remaking parts.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
