ES350 Trunk release button
I've been living with the gummed up original button for years - a problem many ES350 owners share. I live in Texas and the heat seems to make it worse each year. It was getting very difficult to open from outside the car so I checked at the Lexus dealer. Their price convinced me to live without it for a while longer. Then I found this for less than half what the dealer wanted. It's genuine, easy to install ( but does require some mechanical ability) and works perfectly. Easy D I Y Project to replace
Very easy to replace. The only issue I have is the original switch had a rubber cover that became sticky and became difficult if not impossible to operate. This made it necessary to replace. Installed and working perfectly!
Installed and working perfectly. Took me about 20 minutes from start to finish for installation (loosen trunk lid liner, remove old switch, install new switch, re-install trunk liner). Hardest part of the installation was due to the fact that I had to work around the trunk liner because I didn't remove it completely (due to the safety trunk release lever).Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
