    OEM thermostat holding temperature at 180 degrees

    I was having problems with my older thermostat maintaining the proper temperature. it was dropping to 177 degrees and going up as high as 194 degrees on cold days. it is now maintaining the correct temperature range around 178 to 184 degrees. I used a code scanner that shows live data and I was able to watch the temperature and track it as I was driving.
