What can I say? I am a Tears for Fears fan from way back. As a matter of fact, I was listening to a greatest hits from them when I went looking for something new. I had no idea that this album was out there and found it a couple of years after the fact. Surprised, I just had to have the CD. Fast forward to now. It has been about 6 months since I had purchased the CD on E-bay. Unbelievably, it is still one of my favorite CDs. It is one of the goto CDs in my glove box when I need to hear something good and familiar. I thought that it would be okay at best. I am happy to say that it is GREAT! Great Music! Great Vocals! Roland and Curt have done well!!! Unforgettable. The album blends together great. "Everybody Loves A Happy Ending" starts the album. A good song but probably the weakest (in my opinion) on the album. Believe me it just keeps getting better as you listen. By the time the album is over you will understand how wonderful the album as a whole is awesome and that it moves like a great amusement park. Ups and downs, thrills and calms, something for everyone. All the while leaving a smile on your face. When you leave this park, you won't be wanting your money back. Give 'em a listen.Read full review
I've lost track of this band many years ago and decided to check out their final album. As most of their previous albums this one is one of their best, highly recommend.

The musical direction Tears for Fears has taken with this album offers a pure organic tone and proves to me that they should continue making music. Melodies that conjure up Beatle-esque visions coupled with a modern twist of raw late 60's tones and updated British grooves are more than welcome in a time when new music is not so great... Songs like, "Call Me Mellow," strip the old Tears for Fears synthesized sound down to the roots of their instruments and gives the listener a fresh new perspective on the band. They should seriously consider making more albums like, "Everyone Loves a Happy Ending."
I have been trying to catch up on all the TFF albums I missed over the years. Their break up sort of put them out of the spotlight, and off my radar after their early successes. It's been wonderful to find the amazing music that continued to produce after getting back together. It's like discovering a new friend. This album is on constant rotation on my computer.
