This twist is that you're basically running your own restaurant, from the layout of table, the the staff, all the way down to the menu. As like every other tycoon game, the graphics aren't pretty, but they're definately a higher standard than any of the older tycoon games. The high point of the game is the extensive gameplay. Although there are only about 18 "missions", there is no way to complete the latter in under 3 hours each, and half the time you'll end up failing the mission anyway. The game is all about tweaking your menu, staff, and layouts while upgradingy our restaurant when you have the cash in order to complete the mission. The only thing that keeps this game from getting a 5/5 is the "Iron Chef" type missions embedded into each regular mission. All you do is pick a recipe and play 3 lame minigames that are mostly based on luck and not skill, which can result in a loss of the competition. Overall, if you're a fan of tycoon games or are planning to someday open your own restaurant, this is a must have.Read full review
This game is alot of fun for those of us who think owning a restaurant would be cool. You get to dig your hands into alot of the business and it is a much safer investment than trying this with a real restaurant. It is surprisingly accurate with alot of its content. I am a personal chef and this is as close to the business end I will ever want to be but it is alot of fun to work with the recipes and the other fun aspects of this business without the headaches.
its a fun game to play when you arent really doing anything. its a little confusing at first, but it gets easier to understand. i like it
